Early detection saves lives!

From 10 to 12 December, we will be focusing on kidney health with a free health check at Westfield Shopping City Süd.

Together with Boehringer Ingelheim, labors.at and the patient organisation Selbsthilfe Niere, we are offering you a health check that is divided into three steps: First, the team will have a brief informative discussion with you to explain what will be tested and why this check-up is so important. Then your blood pressure and blood sugar will be measured, as high blood pressure and diabetes are among the most common causes of chronic kidney disease.

If your values are outside the tolerance range, an in-depth analysis will follow with a more accurate blood sugar measurement and a urine test. This ensures that those who really need it actually benefit from a more detailed examination, i.e. people with an increased risk or symptoms/signs of cardiovascular disease.
