The Clothes Machine

The Clothes Machine is a device where you can bring and throw away unwanted clothes, accessories or shoes at any time. In this way, you will not only give used items a second life, but also contribute to helping those in need - every kilogram of clothes donated is equivalent to donating PLN 1 to the Friends of Children Society.

To open the device, you need to install the Westfield Club application and follow the steps displayed on the phone screen. After throwing things inside, thanks to the scale installed in the Clothes Att, the device immediately informs you how many kilograms of clothes have been donated. Each person who uses the Clothes Att will also receive this information by e-mail, and the donated kilograms will be automatically assigned to their customer account in Westfield Club along with a virtual badge.

The device is located on level 0, between the Leroy Merlin and Duka stores. Its capacity is as much as 170 kg.

The Clothes Machine is another solution that Westfield Arkadia uses to encourage customers to lead a more sustainable lifestyle every day and is part of the Better Places strategy implemented by the centre. One of its goals is to reduce the negative impact on the environment and promote circularity and closed circulation in the fashion sector.

The Clothes Machine concept was developed by Ubrania Do Oddania, and the machine was manufactured by T-master – a leader in the waste segregation industry, whose innovative solutions allow for an increase in the levels of collected secondary raw materials for recycling.
