Menorah Lighting Celebration

December 14–22, 2025 Nightly at 5:00 PM | Promenade near Macy’s

Celebrate the Festival of Lights with nightly menorah lightings hosted by Chabad of Placer County. From December 14 through December 22, join us on the Promenade near Macy’s for a meaningful and festive Hanukkah tradition.

Each evening at 5:00 PM, a candle will be lit on the community menorah, accompanied by live music and warm holiday spirit. The event is free and open to the public.

Lighting Schedule:

• Sunday, Dec 14 – First candle (plus the shamash)
• Monday, Dec 15 – Second candle
• Tuesday, Dec 16 – Third candle
• Wednesday, Dec 17 – Fourth candle
• Thursday, Dec 18 – Fifth candle
• Friday, Dec 19 – Sixth candle (lit before Shabbat candles, 18 minutes before sunset)
• Saturday, Dec 20 – Seventh candle (after Shabbat ends and Havdalah is recited)
• Sunday, Dec 21 – Eighth candle
