June 28: Enjoy performances from Gay Men's Chorus of DC and story time of the award-winning children's book, A Peacock Among Pigeons, by Author Tyler Curry-McGrath & Illustrator Clarione Gutierrez. This event is perfect for all age groups.

A Peacock Among Pigeons is an LGBT-themed children's book, turned musical, that tells the tale of learning how to stand out when you can't fit in. This children's story teaches the importance of celebrating our differences and learning to love the feathers you live in. 

Following story time, Author Tyler Curry-McGrath & Illustrator Clarione Gutierrez will be selling signed copies of A Peacock Among Pigeons and donating a portion of the proceeds to MoCo Pride. Quantities are limited, and on a first come, first serve basis.
